What are you trying to accomplish?

Curiously,

Well, King of the Custom Fields, you have some options to choose from. If the dimensions are the same, just replace the image file using an FTP client. The name will be the same, and CPG will never know the difference.  If you have changed the dimensions, or if you want to change the file path, use PHPMyAdmin to edit the CPG pictures MySQL  table.

take a look into http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/coppermine/Util.zip?download - maybe that's what you need.
