getting rid of albums on the main page

ok i well when i added all the albums into the categories the main page became hugeee so i was thinking of geting rid of the albums in the main page so it just shows the list of the categories with the number of albums in it and the category description and under the categories to show the random pictures at the botom
yeh is that posible help please

look at the option "Show first level album thumbnails in categories" in coppermine config, refer to http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/manual.php#config_album_list
Your english seems to be OK, please don't be just lazy and just pretend it's a language problem.

i tried that but doesnt change anything like if i take of the ranom image and the latest one it then i see tthat they dont show up and the category list when i take category list of then nothing shows up but when i take the album list of its still there

No, you don't change the 'contents of main page'.  You need alblist to be in that.

You change 'show first level albums thumbnails in categories' to NO.
