Logging into my Coppermine site
« on: September 24, 2004, 05:31:22 pm »

I looked high and low, but could not find an answer to this ... :-[

If I log into my site and then open another browser and map to the main page it shows the user that I logged in as previously and the new user has the rights of the previously logged on user.  It happens with my test user and my admin user.

Should I not be opening multiple browsers from the same machine to test this feature...?

TIA,
~Jeff

You open one IE window and log into Coppemine.  You open another IE window and go to your Coppermine gallery and find yourself logged in.  This is normal because it's looking at the same cookie.  If you want to open two windows and have different users, you need to use completely different browsers (IE and Firefox instead of just IE).

Thank you very much ... that was right on the money.  I logged into my site with Netscape > then IE > then Firefox and it worked just as you said.  Thanks again.
