Login error
« on: September 16, 2004, 11:44:05 am »

Hi
When I installed the script I had a few problems. First I could not create the db, till I realized that the Prefix in the Installations-page (which was still written) "cpg132_", was not the same, like in the sql sits (just CPG_) .So I corrected it . After this
it didn't work, yet. So I installed it manual in mysql admin. Now everything works great but there is still a
Problem . Cause I installed it manual, I have to write the Admin info (name and password) also Manual , but I can not find it in the db.
 ???
If Anybody could write me how it works I would be very happy.
Thanks
  :)

First, the sql is supposed to read 'CPG_'.

The tables will be created at cpg132_, or whatever has been set in the installation page.

It sounds as if coppermine could not write to the include folder.  Did you chmod the include folder as instructed.
Is there a file called config.inc.php and one called install.lock on your server in the include folder?

When created properly, your admin user name and password can be found as user 1 in the users table.
