Probably should have done more research and did see a previous 120day post on the subject.  I created an Unassigned Category with various albums based on a manual sorting process.  As my siblings (across the country) and I reviewed them we'd created an appropriate category and album(s) to move the desired unassigned photos into for the enjoyment of family and friends.  I guess there's not a way to change the photo properties, i.e. the category/album??

If you edit the properties of an album, you can move it to another category.  If you edit the pictures of an album, you can move them to another album.
