Changing domains
« on: January 21, 2017, 11:26:01 am »

My coppermine install is at the www.monctononline.ca domain

I am retiring  the monctononline.ca domain and will be replacing it with joesdomain.ca
joesdomain.ca will remain with the same hosting company. Its just a domain name change.
What is needed to be done to do this?

Thanks

Joe

There is a full section in our doc on 'backup and moving'... http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/export.htm

Since you may not need to physically move the files - since you said just a domain name change - only the last part for changing Coppermine's URL likely applies: http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/export.htm#moving_config_url
A one variable change in the config setup.
