Viewing pictures breaks web browsers. Help.
« on: January 04, 2017, 05:24:09 am »

Just to note. This was working fine a few weeks. But now today coppermine is just acting stupid. Every time I try to view pictures the browser just says The page isn't redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

What does that even mean? I have nothing that is redirecting anything. This happends in both firefox and chrome. and yes I have cleared cookies many times and still does not work. You can see for yourself. Just clicking a picture will make your browser freak out. How do I fix this?

Here is the link.

I cannot access your site at the moment as it seems blocked by my companies firewall. As a guess, have you checked that this item in the config is set correctly - http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/configuration.htm#admin_general_coppermine-url

You have general (hosting?) problems with your site, not Coppermine problems.

Yes everything is fine in that settings. Every time I click a picture I have to clear the cookies it gets fixed and I can see my site again, only to click on a picture and then it just breaks again. So I have to clear the cookies over and over again. What is causing it to do that?

Please see what Ron4mac has written above. I am unfortunately unable to even see your site due to a firewall my end.

What do you mean? What do I do? Should I reinstall coppermine?
