Screwed up something now what?
« on: April 19, 2012, 06:02:55 pm »

I believe I am running CPG 1.5.20 here: http://peppermint-bay.com/cat/

Someone inquired about installing a shopping cart, so I was going to fool around with ZenCart. I went into PhpMyAdmin and noticed I had a database already setup for it. I wanted to delete it. I accidentally deleted the coppermine database! So, I did a restore which was from last month sometime. Now I get the following error message when trying to access:

Code: [Select]
Fatal error :

.

While executing query 'SELECT name, value FROM cpg14x_config' in include/init.inc.php on line 181 mySQL error: Access denied for user 'sonalicorp'@'localhost' to database 'coppermine'

Actually I might be running 1.5.18 if I look in the init.inc.php file it says that.

I think never mind. I'm probably going to have to install fresh. I called the web host and they tried to do a restore which didn't work. So, he ended up resetting things and I was left with a clean slate.

Upgraded from PHP 4 to 5, reinstalled PHPMyAdmin, etc.

Not recommended. Instead, ask your web host to fix the MySQL user permissions or set your access data correctly:
Quote
mySQL error: Access denied for user 'sonalicorp'@'localhost' to database 'coppermine'
