Is there a way to make certain galleries hidden based on user group.

In phpBB I have certain forums that "show up" only if user is part of a certain user group.
Is the same setup possible in Coppermine?

For example I would like to create a Gallery called Kits that requires user group "MAG" to see and upload
If a user that is not part of the MAG user group logs in I would prefer they not even see that the Kits gallery exists but if a user that is part of the MAG user group logs in that gallery is accessable just like any other.

Depending on what you mean with "galleries", that is possible or not. It's possible to hide albums, but it's not possible to hide categories out of the box.
