Error: You don't have permission to perform this operation.
« on: March 05, 2012, 06:12:17 am »

I was trying to upload 4 videos to my site, all were WMV type.

The sizes are 2,115 KB, 7,467 KB, 8,077 KB and 23,429 KB.  The last one prompted the message and was not uploaded.  I was using the standard upload method, not Jupload.

Where do I start looking?  What info do you need to see?

Thanks, I'll get that setup and let you know when it's down. :)

My gallery http://www.cs-mn.com/cpg

Here's the test user account data:

The site is basically for the family sharing pics and videos.  It has been working fine for JPG's and have just started to use videos.

The issue seems to be with the size of the video (I think) but I'm not sure what size parameter I need to change.  The site was setup to take extremely large files so I didn't expect this.  I have full control of the server since I'm the chief cook and bottle washer (no outside service) so I can get to anything that is needed.

I have a video that I uploaded (7,467 KB or 8,077 KB) so if you try any video over 16,000 KB, it might do it.

Thanks in advance.

Review your PHP settings upload_max_filesize and post_max_size.

Thank you.  I increased the sizes from 16M/20M to 128M/128M and everything works great.  Now I have to figure out how to allow MP4 formats to be played so I don't have to convert them but that's another thread.  LOL

I was going to ask how to do that, I didn't notice that button before.

Also, I think I have the MP4 plugin installed.  Checking it out now. :)

I'll go to previous post and mark them too.  Thanks.
