403 Forbiden ...
« on: September 27, 2011, 12:13:28 pm »

Hi guys,

I had coppermine website bridged with joomla on 2009, I wanted to make my website online again, so I uploaded my backup of course lots of things changed, php, mysql versions etc. ... now I would like to save my database and start freshly with my pictures and comments of users, I have cpg1.3 and cgp1.5 databases on my phpmyadmin page ... when I visit my coppermine I get 403 forbidden .. when I delete the .htaccess I get other errors ... I owuld like to first disable the bridge with joomla then I guess I need to overwrite everything and upgrade to the latest version of cpg, will this work? Also I am not sure if GD or imagemagick is installed on my server, can it because of this?

Thanks a lot,
Anarchy

Try if this works: http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/bridging.htm#bridge_manager_recover_start

when I delete the .htaccess I get other errors
Please post a link to your gallery so we can see the error messages.
