Upgrade theme help
« on: January 27, 2011, 06:01:10 pm »

Hi, I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right spot.  We have a theme that we paid for and specifically told the person making it to make it for 1.5.12.  However, they made it for 1.4.x.  It's for a fan site my kid is making. How much would one of you charge to convert it?  My kid doesn't have a lot of money to pay for fixing it.  I tried to upgrade it using the documentation.  I got the admin nav to tile right, but the table with the pictures comes out too large.  Thanks.

For clarification, the gallery is at www.millajs-updatez.com/gallery.  The theme needs to be upgraded from 1.4x to 1.5.12.  We're willing to pay $10.

My kid is able to go as high $20. It shouldn't be too difficult to update for someone who knows coding and Coppermine.  Thanks.

What exactly are you looking for?

Zip up your theme and post it here and I will have a look at it...

We are trying to have the theme work properly on Coppermine 1.5.12.  We had to install Coppermine 1.4.x to get the theme to display right.  I've attached the zip files here.  Thank you.

Gene,
Will you please delete the galleryphotos.zip file after you've downloaded? Thank you.

Done as requested and removed the attachments.

Looks like quite a simple theme to upgrade. I'm sure Gene will find it very easy to do. Don't forget the {JAVASCRIPT} tag.

You can temporally see the theme here:
http://gfyoung.homeip.net/cpg15x/index.php?theme=mjud

I will be deleting after you have a chance to look at it...so let me know.
There are other things you should look at like font colors, admin menu etc.
I have not addressed those.  Nor do I plan to.  And cost is ....$0.

Main changes were html clean up and changing imbeded imgs to class and put in style CSS.

Let me know if you see something that you really want changed.

There are other thing that could to be done.

Gene,
Thank you ever so much!  Would you mind putting the latest additions first, then categories, and then random files? If you see anything else that should be fixed, please feel free to do that.  Thank you again>  ;D :D

That is something you do in your config panel. It is not part of the theme. If that is how you already have it setup on your existing gallery it should remain the same with the new.
