Age Requirements or Age Verification?

I saw a mod dated back in 2007 for requesting ages for the members and then locking the underage out of certain categories/albums.  HOWEVER, I spent a couple of hours today trying to implement it, just to realize that it wouldn't work with 1.5.

Does anyone have or know of a mod or plugin that will work with 1.5 for checking members age and then keeping them from using certain categories?
