Database processing error
« on: January 25, 2010, 04:43:11 am »

I have disabled the bridging with my phpbbr forum.
The gallery seems to work fine but when I try to see my tables in the database, it doesn't let me browse the tables, I get this error:
#1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 2

Could you please, let me know what file I am  suppose to check and how can I get rid of this error?

Coppermine install: http://eva4art.com/coppermine_gallery
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.25
Test user account: testuser / testing

Apache/1.3.41 (Unix) PHP/5.2.6
MySQL client version: 5.0.51

Thank you.

I got lucky. I don't know what did it, but the error is gone.
I ran the "Update database" in Coppermine "Admin Tools" and in the phpMyAdmin in the Table Maintenance I did the Repair Table and Optimize Table.
Something worked.

Thanks for resolving your thread. My guess is that the repair table command did the trick and that your mysql table was corrupted. In the future if you get the generic database error you got, go to coppermine's config and enable debug-mode there to see a more meaningfull error message, i.e. what query actually failed.
