In-line style definitions
« on: May 12, 2004, 01:43:19 am »

On attempting to view the current demo in Netscape 4.7 album pages display fragmentarily.

YES, I know is is an ancient browser but I still use it to test with so that my pages have wide ranging support.  The fact IS the majority of pages that don't display properly in Netscape are just plain broke (missing stylesheets, closing table or page tags).  IE has become too fault tolerant and those testing with it don't know when they have major errors.

On looking at the demo source I see a lot of in-line style definitions.  These break old browsers every time and I suspect are the problem using Netscape 4.7.  With named styles they work or not but do not crash the page.

Are these in-line style deffinitions a key part of how Coppermine works or just the way the demo is setup?
