Warning after running update.php
« on: January 25, 2009, 03:03:52 am »

Hello everyone,

Background:

Had an existing phpbb2 board with cpg 1.3x bridged.
Upgraded to phpbb3. All working.
Followed upgrade instructions for cpg 1.4.19 upgrade, ran update.php with "already done" for all.

Message the bottom:

"Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/thereald/public_html/gallery/update.php on line 47

Warning: mysql_free_result(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/thereald/public_html/gallery/update.php on line 50"

When clicking on link "check your file versions" or "your gallery's start page"...

Page displays:

"While executing query "SELECT * FROM cp_config" on 0

mySQL error: SELECT command denied to user 'thereald_cpm3'@'localhost' for table 'cp_config'"

Cannot proceed, stuck at this point.

Thank you for your assistance. :)

Did you disable the bridge before upgrading?

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

No, I did not see any mention of disabling the bridge in the upgrade section of the documentation.

Perhaps it was in another section and I missed it.

How do I proceed from here now that have already updated?

Unbridge, then re-bridge.
