I have the following issue when trying to bridge Coppermine and phpBB3:
When I log in to Coppermine, it passes to the forum login script as it should but then leaves me on the forum as logged in instead of sending me back to Coppermine. I then have to go back to Coppermine and refresh the page to reflect my logged in status. Not a big deal until you consider the inevitable user confusion after trying to log into a site and suddenly finding themselves logged in at a "different" site. Of course I'd also like the logout script to send me back to Coppermine as well but it's not as important.
Coppermine Install:
http://www.purpleday.org/galleryForum install:
http://www.purpleday.org/forumsCoppermine version: cpg1.4.19
Forum version: phpBB 3.0.2
Test user account: tester/tester
Bridge Manager settings:
Forum URL:
http://www.purpleday.org/forums Relative path to your BBS's config file: ../forums/
Use post-based groups?: 0
Cookie prefix: phpbb3_l479v
This is all hosted as part of a GoDaddy package in the event it matters.
The bridge itself went well after following all the instructions here (great thread!):
http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,53678.0.htmlI did make the mods to "ucp.php" although the wording left me unsure if that is related to what I'm trying to do.
For what it's worth, the when I attempt to log in via the Coppermine site the URL looks like this, with or without the modified ucp.php file:
http://www.purpleday.org/forums/ucp.php?mode=login&redirect=http%3A%2F%2Fpurpleday.org%2Fgallery%2FIt looks like it wants to redirect but doesn't. I expect the solution is on these boards somewhere but I haven't been able to come up with the correct search criteria to find it.
Any thoughts on this?
Thanks,
Kevin
