Hi,
(please be patient with my poor english)

3 or 4 weeks ago was everithing ok with coppermine and Jupload.
I'ts now a week that nothing work.
I make a new "gallery" with last version and also last Jupload version but it's the same problem.
I've also installed the last "java"... nothing at all !

What I have now:
when I go to the Jupload page and the Jupload applet appear, I have no more choice to pick an album and the Internet explorer give me errors like "errors on page"... line, character, code, page...

Everything's work fine with the old upload system (picture by picture without java applet)... but not with Jupload anymore.
I have the same problem on your "test coppermine gallery".

Did you need something to help me ?

I've doing a admin account as needed !

Can you precise your Coppermine and JUpload version.

Are you sure your installation is correct ?

Yes, everithing is correct and installed by defalut (without any changes).
I give you the admin control by pm.. so you can check what you will.
If I must do anything other... let me know please.

Thanks to the account you sent to me, I was able to try to reinstall the plugin.

But, when installing, I got this error: Il y a eu une erreur en copiant le plugin dans le répertoire.. Thanks to my fluent French speaking capability, I guess the installation did not go well.

Can you try to send files by FTP, like explained in the doc ?

I've tried to send the pictures by ftp... no problems !... only with the Jupload option.

I don't andertand why ?

Hi,

The FTP proposal was to re-install JUpload, by sending files by FTP: from the error I got, your system doesn't allow plugin installation through the web interface.
To install a plugin, you have to do it manually by FTP. Take a look at JUpload manual for further details

Well... i have make a new gallery with all last version (Gallery and Jupload).
I have uploaded everything with FTP (also Jupload in the plugins directory with FTP).
Then I have intalled it by the Plugins'panel and started it... it's allways the same problem.

I got a very strange when trying to create a new album. It looks like something is added to the URL, within the web server.

Do you have any kind of URL rewriting somewhere ?

Not at all... i'ts really fresh and uncorrupted installation with the last versions.

The strangest is that everithing was very fonctional without any problem... it's appeared so (no more access with Jupload) somewhere at 25/12/2008 !

Hum,

I did not found any real things. The behaviour is strange. When creating an album, part of the posted values are lost.

The main thing I see, after some search, is that PHP 5.2.8 has just been installed, in late december. It's the up to date version. I just downloaded it. I'll test JUpload with it.

Works for me, on PHP 5.2.8. It would have been really strange if it was that, but...

I have a strange javascript error: it doesn't find the javascript functions, in the php coming from JUpload. I'll search in this direction: these javascript function are needed, in order to make JUpload work properly.

At this same time, I have contacted my host service to relate this problem.

They also will search why it don't work no more... because some php instructions in our forums also don't work no more.
