Upgrating 1.4.9 to 1.4.19

I know this is a big jump for me in upgrading, but after losing files once from doing so, I'm a bit of a worry wart. I have since edited my themes at http://www.drakecentral.org/gallery and want to know if my gallery will be perfectly fine after update, or will I have to re-install my themes and pictures?

If you follow the correct upgrading steps, you wouldn't have to re install your themes and pictures.
