As you're already using a recent version, the last one won't help.

Do you have any personal firewall that could prevent java to access to your site ?

If this check is not the good one, please provide the full debug output of the applet.

Noted on my todo list. I can't repeat the problem on my computer.

Can be due to a temporary problem on the hosting server.

Please tell me if it's the case or if it get back in normal way...

(can you confirm that upload works for you ?)

Yes,

I guess I'll need an admin account to understand what's happening on your server...

My ADSL line is back, so I'm back too !!!

I'll check that ASAP. But everything that needs me online may be a bit longer than offline stuff: I work on JUpload in the train !

I have this same error
Windows 8
iis7
php 5.2.6
mysql 5.0.26
coppermine 1.4.19
JUpload 3.3.1

Fresh install bridged with vBulletin 3.7.3

Upload works fine with session JUpload handle.

Just that error pops up every time you go to the Jupload page.

Ok,

  I've found the problem.

The error is within the applet: it tries to contact the server, when loading, with a HTTP HEAD request. Sometimes, the server response contains an empty body.

In this case ... the applet is not happy... :(

It's now corrected. But it's along with major internal changes. I need some extra testing, before providing the correction.
