Hi Timo,

i have made a new Coppermine 1.4.18 installation integrated EnlargeIt 0.88 and Slider 2.07 (btw. both shows wrong versions (0.87/2.05) in the Plugin Manager)
If there is no picture in the gallery and after clicking some menu items the Browser is loading and loading...but shows no error message only the sandglass.
Also it`s not possible to logout then.
Same happened if i have created a new category without pictures in an excisting gallery . If i click the new category button it crashed, no reaction of the browser.

I have wait for a long time, then sometimes it`s possible again to load the mainpage.

To get it back to normal work, it`s needed to e.g. delete the Slider folder via ftp in Plugins or to remove "slider" in config -> content of the main page.

I don`t know if this only happened at my server or if it`s a general problem.....

Bug in Slider plugin fixed. EnlargeIt! v0.881 includes Slider 2.08.

Slider 2.08 changes:
- Slider plugin won't lock webserver anymore with empty categories

i cannot make it work.
The only thing that works in my page is the imageflow plugin.
The Slider shows a blank slide and the Enlargeit does not work.

Thanks. It is a great plugin anyway.

When trying to load
http://todo-motos.es/galeria/plugins/enlargeit/js/enlargeit.js
I get a 403 error message. So does the visitor, and that's why EnlargeIt! doesn't work.

Either there's something wrong with your webserver, or you didn't upload the whole plugin including subfolders.

I feel so stupid. :P

All the files inside the slider and enlargeit has set to 600 and folders to 700, so it was imposible to work. :D
Fixed now...

¿A question: could put the slider on the top of my web page?
¿Is there any code or any where to look how to make it?
Thanks!

Great work, mate ! I like a lot this little plugin  ;)

"Small" request... would it be possible to display also the caption (i.e. description) of the image together with the title (which is already there) under it or, better, under the image itself ? I guess it would be nice to configure this in the admin area with yes / no... if is not too much work for you...

Thanks !

The caption is already visible if a pic has one and the visitor clicks on the 'i' symbol (to show the information ajax snippet). I don't plan to add it as a subtitle to the picture.

I like it a lot! tnx for all the hard work. Looking forward to the comment ajax.

It has been brought to my attention that there is a small problem with listboxes showing through the ajax overlay (the people telling me this are all ie6 users, probably that's where the problem lies...). Not looking for a solution (I couldn't care less, it doesn't show in FireFox so I'm happy  ;D ), just letting you know  :)

I also found a small translation error in the dutch locale: "Historie" should be translated as "Histogram" (historie is a literal translation of history, but in this case it should be called histogram). Maybe something to change for a later release?

Thanks, I know about the IE6 problem, but it doesn't affect usability at all and is just a display bug, and IE 6 is a dying browser, so I won't code a work around for that - the Javascript part currently is 15 Kb and I don't want it to be bigger without getting additional really useful functionality.

Thanks for the work - it is appreciated.

two questions:
1) Once a visitor has rated an image, is there any way they can change their rating?  I can't find a way.
2) At the beginning of this thread you mentioned working on a comments feature.  Was that abandoned or am I missing it?  That was a feature  I really needed.

Thanks again.

That's not a feature of coppermine, so it can hardly be a feature of a visualization plugin.

Sorry - I never noticed you couldn't do that before.  I guess its not that big a deal since no ones ever complained to me.

It's not very difficult to code the comment ajax snippet, but it's very difficult for me to keep it compatible with the Captcha plugin, and I think that's really important. It's summer in germany, and I can think of nicer things than spending a week or two in front of my PC to understand Captcha and then find out that it won't work with EnlargeIt! or has to be modified. You'll have to wait untill I'm really really bored, or until one of the developers decides to help me.

I understand - its summer here in Mississippi, USA too and its hard to sit inside too long.  I've been chasing this "highslide-type" interface forever it seems.  Found one that does everything including ratings and comments, but doesn't use a database so client loses everything when they leave the site (its set up to email the owner a list of image selections, ratings and comments). Others don't allow multiple images to be open at the same time.  Yours is perfect except I can't get to the comments.  The search goes on...  Anyway, thanks for all you did to get it this far.  I'll check back occasionally to see if you have revisited it.

Amazing plugin!

Is there any ability to load flash files?

I'm a photo-retoucher. Rather than displaying my work as a side-by-side comparison of before/after, I'd like to display the retouched image and reveal the original on mouseOver.

If I can't load flash, is there any way to attach javascript to particular files?
