I see a nice dev's software list.
What i'm missing in that list is RawTherapee http://www.rawtherapee.com/

It is THE tool for raw and jpeg image enhancements.
Don't go screw around with Photshop (which is a photo manipulation tool) but use power tools like RawTherapee to enhance the brightness of your amazing pictures.

I know it sounds like a commercial add, but hey i just love this application to much.
It has no gadges, nor does it allow you to paint. It just does what it is meant for and does a good job at it.

As a side note, it is FREE (and not the big $$$ of Photoshop)
