Any plans for an Ikonboard bridge?

They use MySQL mostly now... probaly 95% of the people use it in that way...

It's free, unlike vBulletin, and Invision. and it looks MUCH better than YaBB.

I love my Ikonboard... you can do alot with it, and it's MySQL database... but the user end sucks cause I like this Coppermine gallery too.. and they have to register for both...

Any help would be appriciated :)

usually the bridge files are being submitted from coppermine users who run a bbs that coppermine doesn't support yet. Maybe you could take a look into the existing bridge files to see how they work and come up with a bridge file for your board as well.

my suggestion would be that you start a thread on the ikonboard forum. Look around there carefully if this has been asked before (don't make the senior people upset by double posting). If it hasn't been asked before, start your own posting. Since the people on ikonboard probably don't know about coppermine, you should start your posting with a short resumé about coppermine and it's features and then ask for help on coding a bridge file.
I don't know the ikonboard community, but from my experience you can always get someone with the abilities to code such a bridge file to start working on it if you ask nicely and the coder sees a benefit for himself, i.e. he wants to have the bridge file for himself.
Post a link to the thread/discussion on the ikonboard forums on this thread for reference...
