Accidentally ran bridge recovery instead of manager
« on: May 31, 2007, 08:38:16 pm »

I accidentally logged into the bridge recovery instead of running the bridge manager to change some settings. I know according to the coppermine documentation that I will lose everything if I bridge the gallery with phpbb again. Is there any way to prevent this from happening? Any way to backup everything and then restore after bridging again? I have over 60 folders containing around 7000 images that I really don't want to lose.

Just run the bridge manager again and rebridge.

So there is no risk of losing any information in doing this?

I was referring to "5.2.3 Coppermine users, groups and pics uploaded by users are lost when integrating

Warning: If you already have users and custom groups in your coppermine database when you enable bbs integration, be aware that they will be lost. If your coppermine users have already created private albums and uploaded pics to them, they will be lost as well!" when making my assumption.

Did as recommended (while holding my breath of course) and all looks ok. Thank you Nibbler.
