Hey students!

This year, the Coppermine dev team is going to participate in Google's Summer of Code. Students can submit their applications via the GSoC web app between March 14-24 26, 2007. We wanted to give you a heads-up so you have time to think about applying. Students will get $4500 at the end of the summer.

It's official. Google has published the list of participating mentor organizations:  Coppermine's profile page. This is Coppermine's first year participating in GSoC. We're thrilled and honored to have been selected by Google to help students pursue their open source interests.

Due Date

The last day to submit the student application is March 24. I forgot where I found the due time for the organization application so I can't confirm it for the student application, but the application should be submitted by 5 PM PDT.

Good Luck! Thanks for considering Coppermine.

FYI: The project ideas page is all white for me (tested in FF and IE).
I'd fix it ASAP before the application deadline.
