Missing Folder - User Galleries
« on: November 09, 2006, 02:39:14 pm »

I want to delete my user galleries. However, when I go to look for the 10943 folder with my ftp program, it can't be found.  When I try to delete the folder in the gallery admin I get the following error:

Directory 'albums/userpics/10943/' is not writable, files can't be deleted

What do I do?

Create the directory and then delete it from within Coppermine.

Thanks! The images are gone but now it says that there are 3 albums and no photos in the user galleries on my main page. How do I get rid of the user galleries album on my main page?

Make sure that you have deleted all personal albums your users have created, including the empty ones. Make sure that you have the most recent version (currently cpg1.4.10) - previous versions had issues with not all personal user galleries being displayed.
For details, post a link to your coppermine-driven gallery.
