Bridging Coppermine with Mambo - "Remember Me"
« on: November 01, 2006, 07:06:37 pm »

I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine and Mambo:
#1. If I login to Mambo without setting the "Remember Me", the bridge to Coppermine fails. If I check the "Remember Me" option - it works.
#2. (Probably related to #1) When I log out of Mambo (after a session where I had a successful bridge to Mambo), if then navigate to my coppermine installation, I'm still logged in!

I've been pouring through the board, and although I'm certain I remember seeing a similar post, I can't find it.
Any solutions?

Coppermine install: http://www.nadiahope.com/cp
Forum install: http://www.nadiahope.com/mb
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.10 (was .9 up until last night - same issue)
Forum version: Mambo 4.6.1
Test user account: test / test

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://www.nadiahope.com/mb
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../mb/
Use post-based groups?:  0 (tried it both ways though)

Hi again -
Ok - so I enabled debug mode but I'm not enough of a PHP wiz to really understand it - I'll have to break out a PHP book..  It looks like a cookie/session problem and I have a feeling that with a small tweak to the bridge file it will work....I tried a few thing but still not working.   It appears that it isn't finding my session unless I have that darn remember me check box set.

Any suggestions?  I'm kind of anxious to start adding content!   ;D

Option B:  Is there another CMS that's very "Mambo-like" that will definitely (and easily) work with Coppermine?
