Main page thumbs
« on: May 17, 2006, 02:00:32 am »

Hi all :)

ok ive setup my gallery & all is working well :D

However im trying to set the main page which shows random images to only show random pics of a certain album (not all of the albums) ive looked on here & looked through the faq but cant find the answer, anyone help me please :) ?

All i want is to know how to set it up so on the main page where it says "Random Files" only pictures from an album I choose will show up here :)

The Random block uses the current category to choose its random selection of files.  Do you want the Random block to always show a fixed album, no matter what category you are in?

I whipped up a plugin that I'll post once I know what you want.

ok i downloaded the zip, but i have no idea how to install this, i read the FAQ for installing plug ins in the plug-in section but its not very clear, when i goto the plugins section on my coppermine it only gives me an option to browse 1 file but theres 6 for this plug in?

do i need to make a new folder in my web directory/plugins folder for this plug in ?

eg: plugins/this_plugin ?

It's not a bright idea to try to hijack a thread that is marked as solved and deals with something different. Locking.
