backup/restore
« on: May 14, 2006, 08:27:18 am »

i once found a topic in the faq that covered this but it now seems to be missing so i will ask here.

i am wanting to move my entire coppermine installation with images intact from one server to another.  i have downloaded the entire coppermine directory to my local hard drive.  i seem to remember reading to upload the entire directory to the new server but i don't remember the next step(s).  if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.

thank!

"restore the mySQL table by running the queries of the dump files you created in step 2"

that's a little bit vague...what exactly am i supposed to do there, how do i run the queries?

in phpMyAdmin's query box, or whatever app you used to create the dump in the first place.
