What's a Quidditch theme? I guess this is a theme for another app (probably phpbb) that you would like to be created. You should at least post a link, or someone might create any theme and name it "Quidditch" -> issue solved.

Well... I almost have it done except I can't figure out where the blue broders are coming from in IE. It's fine in Firefox and I still have to validate it. If anyone has any idea where I can look for the blue borders, let me know. Maybe it's a bad color definition. You can view it here http://www.bullseyephotos.com/gallery/index.php?theme=quidditch. Once I get this nailed down, I'll post it but I do have to say, it's "purple"!

Sorry... I fixed it last night then took the wife out for dinner and didn't get a chance to post. It was a missing border in the .image class. I've posted the theme here http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=31505.0.

Cheers,

Please post a link to your site so that we can all see our hard work in action. The apprentices would appreciate it.  ;D

Thanks,

@Farid: you might consider to pay Gizmo for his work (especially since you use the theme on a commercial site). At least a token of appreciation (e.g. a gift from Gizmo's amazon wishlist if he has one) might be a good idea. This is of course not mandatory, but I suggest considering it.

Hi,

I never heard of paying for help on a forum.
Just helping people and getting credit for it is great too, i think.

(I also do not get payed for creating this site)

When somebody asks my help on any forum, i do not expect to get payed. That's just what is making the internet and forums like this great.

Best regards,

Farid

asking for help with a minor issue and getting help for free is one thing, asking for a whole theme to be ported over takes quite some time and skills. That's why I suggested a small payment (Amazon wishlist) just as a token of appreciation. After all, there's no money, fame, women etc. in theme-building, and no additional benefit for Gizmo.
You might want to re-consider this: the internet with all the methods available to get help from complete strangers is a great thing and a gift. However, Gizmo isn't Santa Claus (nor anyone else on this board is). As I said: it's not mandatory to pay Gizmo, but after all he spent some time doing your job. If you say "I'm a poor student, I can't afford to pay", that's OK. But not even considering a donnation, because you think that the internet is a big supermarket where everything is free is wrong imo. It's gratitude that makes people like Gizmo (and most of the dev team members) tick and work on a project that is being used by perfect strangers.

No worries... I'm OK with it since it was a teaching experience for me to work with my kids and we had a good time.  :) Not enought money in the world that can buy that! Hopefully others will be inspired to create some themes as my artisic ability really sucks but one day.... you wait and see... I'll turn in a hot one.

Cheers,
