Combining Keywords
« on: November 27, 2005, 03:55:02 pm »

Hi,

I have upgrade coppermine from 1.3 to 1.4. Nice work...

I use keywords with coppermine. I expected a better use of keywords. In 1.3 I combined keywords with a trick . To use the word red fox as one word, I used alt-0160 to make 1 word of it, so the database can look for red_fox as one word. Now, copermine 1.4 don't recognize alt0160 anymore. How can I make one word from two ore more words.

I also used ipodlounge as a template but that doesn't work. I saw the upgrade instructions but thats to difficult for me...... I use now projectvII insted. It looks als good with my website www.naturephotography.nl . I will wait till it's upgrade to use for 1.4.  ;)

Best regards
Wim

alt+0160 should work in the keyword field to bridge two words as one.
Works on my setup.

Not that it answers your question, but why don't you use '_'? I use that to combine phrases, too.

Thanks for your respons. It's indead a possibility because the keywords are underlined. You do not see the underscore.

I find out that you can also select a characterset. I use another characterset know and it works. But I see now some strange characters in other system-tekst....
