Upgrade 1.3.2.to 1.4.2 Cannot see config button

Hi

I have upgraded from CPG 1.3.2. to 1.4.2.

Seems oke, but I am missing the config button (I am logged in)

I see UPLOAD APPROVAL and ALBUMS, between those two buttons I see a small space, but know config button.

Make sure you updated all coppermine files, especially the language files.

Im having the exact same problem, I have 4 different coppermine gallerys and I've just upgrading all of them, uploaded all files, did version checks and all but the config file is missing.....that definitely must be fixed ???

Did you run the versioncheck utility from Admin Tools? If you can access that, try that and see if all the files have been updated successfully.

yeah i ran it, got alot of green, some yellow on the language files, but no reds......

Yes it is. Also config.php is now admin.php in 1.4

Ok I just typed that in and brought it up manually, thanks alot :)......until I can fix it to show up on my theme, I'll access it that way....

by the way, great job on the upgrade guys!

Check the integrity of these lines in your themes.inc.php file in the include folder.

It only happens for not-upgraded lang files that has old entries. You may solve this problem by setting your native language and check the field 'Display english, when phrase not found' in Config menu. If you dont see Config menu link :)  you need to manually change language in database. Go to database (phpmyadmin) and change value in 'lang' record in 'cpgxxx_config' table to 'english'. Than in Config menu check field 'Display english, when phrase not found' and select your lang. Then wait for 1.4.x ready lang file for your language, there is a special topic, where ppl put lang files for 1.4.x Coppermine - ' Coppermine  |  Announcements  |  [Help wanted]: Translations for CPG1.4.x'

fiddling with phpmyadmin is not needed, it's usually enough to add ?lang=english to the url in the bowser's address bar.

The most possible reason you are not seeing the config button is because you probaly have a older version theme set as default before upgrading, so recommend setting classic as your default theme before you upgrade to 1.4.

If you upgraded and cannot see config go to http://www.yourdomain.com/your_gallery_folder/admin.php and set classic as the default theme until you upgrade your older version theme  ;)
