Send activation mail again
« on: March 10, 2005, 12:22:27 am »

Hi,

If someone tries te register to my gallery, he gets his activation mail. But when for some reason the mail is not arrived, he can't login because his account ai'nt activated.

I am missing some kind of option, when a user with an inactive account logs on, he sees Your account aint activated. Click here to send the registration mail again.

is it right that this option is missing? or am i doing something wrong. i tried the search also, but with no effect.

Can somebody please help me, how to get this done?

The easiest solution is for you to go into user manager and manually activate the user.

Then see if you have an issue with sending out email from the gallery.

But it seems that resending the registration email is a good idea.

edit: Looking over the code, it seems it would take some more effort to distinguish an incorrect password login vs an inactive account login.

i know i can manually activate users, but it should go automaticaly.

My gallery is working fine, but if a mail for some reason doen't arrives ( mailbox full or something like that) you have to do it manually, and automatically goes faster :)

Maybe is iit a nice option for an newer version.

if someone is boring.. give it a try :) and make my day :P
