error trying to upload
« on: October 22, 2004, 04:29:05 am »

Hi, I just moved my coppermine gallery to a new server. As far as I know it went smoothly, but when I tried to upload a picture to a gallery, I got this error:

Destination directory albums/userpics/10001/ is not writable by the script !

Can anyone help me fix that?!?

Thanks! :)

You have to CHMOD the albums folder and everything within it as suggested in the documentation (usually 777 or 755, depending on your server config).

:( I tried that, and I got this error:

The picture 'albums/userpics/10001/43683-moon.jpg' can't be inserted in the album
Error executing ImageMagick - Return value: 127

You have to CHMOD the albums folder and everything within it as suggested in the documentation (usually 777 or 755, depending on your server config).

Please search for 'imagemagick error 127'.  This has been discussed many times in the past.
You are advised to upgrade to version 1.3.2.
