Title: Problem with watermark
Post by: AzzIzz on March 05, 2017, 10:04:04 pm
Hello,
I have weird problem with watermark. Untill now everything worked fine, but since few days, when I'm uploading a picture, the watermark is getting messed up. Like something is degrading its quality, so instead this:

I'm getting this:

I didn't change anything in the settings, the only thing that comes to my mind, tho I dunno how it could affect, is that few days ago, my fansite hoster was taken by another company and they changed servers. Any ideas how to fix it? Of course, I already reuploaded watermark in ftp, but it didn't work.

Seems the watermark gets resized. Please check http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/configuration.htm#admin_watermarking_downsize

I'm not sure how that suppose to help me? The watermark is not bigger than pictures so it shouldn't get resized.

That's not how the option works. You set a value and if a picture (not the watermark file) exceeds that value, the watermark will be downsized on that picture.

I watermark pictures with "picture-shark" (freeware) before uploading them to coppermine.

Maybe it´s a little bit more work - but you have more control.
