Title: Remove gallery features from registered users
Post by: steveclv on April 21, 2014, 08:37:32 am
I'm using CPG to promote my own photographs and want customers to register as users so that I can allow them to order the photos using the cpcshop plugin.

I have most of it working now at http://www.picturethis.com.mt/gallery/ (http://www.picturethis.com.mt/gallery/) however when a user registers they still get to see a set of menu items that are no longer relevant and just cause confusion.

For example, MY GALLERY, UPLOAD FILE, ALBUM LIST (which should show the public albums but only shows their blank ones which don't exist of course), LAST UPLOADS (again tries to show the users uploads but should show the public uploads that I put up), and all the other menu items that try and refer to the USERS information rather than the admins data.

Is there a fix for this so that a registered user gets to see the public albums and not an attempt to see their own (non-existant) albums?

Thanks for any guidance - I can manipulate simple PHP etc.

Steve

Try the final extract plugin downloadable from our repository.

Thanks! That helped and removed the major items as I needed - but I am still left with

CREATE / ORDER MY ALBUMS
MODIFY MY ALBUMS
MY PROFILE
SORT MY PICTURES

Which obviously have no relevance to a registered user that isn't allowed to create an album or upload pictures :)

Any ideas on how to remove those?

Thanks for your help!!
