hi
I'm working at new theme in my gallery.
it's online now. There is still a lot of extra code to clear but work  :)
The reference is pinboard, a free theme for wordpress.

In the home page i would like to set thumb gallery for user and "raduni"
For "raduni" i've used a little trick by loading an image in the main category but it is not a good solution
however it does not work with the users gallery
any suggestions?

I'm not sure if it's a bug that you cannot choose a category image for the user galleries category or if it's intended for whatever reason. Will check that.

Added possibility in SVN revision 8583. Please confirm if it works as expected.

yes
the new code works and I was able to set the thumbnail of the users gallery

In my case, however, having a lot of pictures and not very powerful hosting the server went a couple of times in time out
Perhaps the query should be limited, or you could put a direct upload as happens in the forums to set the avatar
However, I confirm that it works
