Title: Easy Rotate Plugin
Post by: hoeksma on March 06, 2011, 06:21:09 pm
All,

Because I allways upload my photo's in bulk and afterwards rotate or delete them I developed a plugin to speed up this task.

The plugin adds 3 buttons (delete,+90 and -90) to the filmstrip view. These buttons will enable you to delete your photo's (with or without confirmation) and also rotate you photo's. All generated photo (thumb,Normal) are also recreated. I also added a option to hide the standard delete function. Because almost all browser cache images I and added a caching overwrite option (adding changetime to images url) so after rotate the correct photo is shown.

Hope you like my work.

Sierk

I found this plugin very useful but the plugin did not work as expected because of a bug so I have now fixed the bug.

The angles specified were +90 degrees and -90 degress and they were mixed up so I changed signs.
After that I found that the -90 degrees were not supported by the php function imagerotate and a 100% black image was the result

Rotation angle, in degrees. The rotation angle is interpreted as the number of degrees to rotate the image anticlockwise.

After fixing those two bugs now the  Easy Rotate Plugin is working OK for me.

Can I edit the source and fix some additional rules for Coppermine plugins rename it to version 1.1 and upload the zip file?

I just updated the new plugin package Jeff already attached to the initial post, as it contained a folder level too much.
