Here is a clean little template I have finally gotten right.
The header image is named header.jpg. Size of the header image must be 940px wide by 198 px high. Image is saved as /images/headers/header.jpg.
I have moved the file information on the intermediate page from below the picture to right of the picture.
I have also truncated the album description on the album list page and included the entire album description above the thumbnails on the thumbnail page. For a family style site, this allows you to include your story on the same page as your photos.
Thanks to everyone who answered questions along the way while I was working on this.

Want to give this a try but the following error appears when viewing an intermediate image:

That function needs to be removed from the theme.php. Only functions that are defined in include/themes.inc.php can be overridden by a theme.

Please try the .zip attached to this message.
I removed the mod to show the pic info on the right of the intermediate image, and moved the function back to its rightful place.
Please let me know if it doesn't work for you.

Can you attach a view of your page source? I included my header.jpg image in the correct folder, and the link in the template.html file works fine on my site. I'd like to see what the code generates on yours.

Not sure why the header image does not work for you. I had to code the template.html file like this to get the image to load on my site:

You could try changing the src to "images/headers/header.jpg" in your template.html and see what that gives you. I had to trial and error it to get it to load. I originally had the img src hard coded directly to the http:// location of my image, but didn't like that. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I'm no coder. I'm just a guy who likes playing around with websites. Maybe one of the admins can tell us both what the correct way to code in the image would be.

The theme.php file does not make any changes to the intermediate page rendering. I do not know why your image would not be showing. It works for me.

FYI: the intermediate view doesn't work if you enable the transparent overlay. If you disable it, the image will be shown.

This should fix the visual issue with transparent overlay. Though the link seems broken when its turned on, haven't found a solution for that yet.

Hi, this is my favourite theme, however there appears to be a layout issue when the cpgforum plugin (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,64865.0.html) is used. Difficult to describe - the forum is stretched downwards. Please see attached or http://testcpg.clockwatching.info/forum.php (http://testcpg.clockwatching.info/forum.php) for visual - a login account is not necessary.
To show this I have installed a fresh version of CPG (from Fantastico, version 1.5.6) and the only changes I have made are to add the cpgforum plugin and load 2 new themes, which are i_feel_dirty_v and twentyten. The problem only happens when using the twentyten theme, and so I have posted in this thread.
I have reproduced this with Chrome, Opera and Firefox.
I would be grateful if this could be fixed as I would like to use both the forum and this fine theme. Thank you for your attention.

Having an odd style sheet issue with this one
it seems when I have category with an album in it, the category list is indented one.

I have a issue with the twentyten theme where the login boxes and the registration boxes are cut off on the right side. You can see an example at: http://travelbuff.net/coppermine/login.php.
I believe I know what the problem is by viewing the source code and putting the code in my html editor. The field boxes are the exact same size as the table they are put in. I can correct it in html by re-sizing the field box by a couple of pixels. My problem is I'm not sure where to find it in the php css files, to make the adjustment. I cannot figure out what that portion is called?
Any help would be apprieciated.
