Title: Advanced Captions

This plugin is intended to provide more control over your thumbnail captions.  Right now, it only removes the date from the meta-albums that tack on the date automatically (with no configuration setting).  These albums are: My Favorites (favpics), Last Additions (lastup), Last Additions by User (lastupby), and Last Updated Albums (lastalb).  The date display for normal albums can be set on the admin configuration panel.

v1.01 - initial public release - removes date only for favpics, lastup, lastupby, and lastalb

This plugin has been added to the subversion repository: http://coppermine.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/coppermine/branches/cpg1.4.x/plugins/adv_caption

It has been updated as well to reflect the version checking routines in the plugin manager that are meant to make sure that galleries don't break because of plugins installed that aren't meant for that particular version of the gallery.

Exactly what I needed. But I do wonder why there was such a huge fuss about asking this through other topics??? I was really stunned by the way replies took place...

Anyway this works for me and should be in the next release.

I've made the necessary changes to this plugin so that it is compatible with cpg1.5.x - see the corresponding announcement thread (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,73311.0.html).
