cpg1.5.30 maintenance release - upgrade recommended
The Coppermine development team is releasing an update for Coppermine in order to fix several minor issues. All fixes are not security critical, so if your gallery is running fine with cpg1.5.28 you don't need to upgrade. If you are running an older version than cpg1.5.28, you must update to this latest version as soon as possible because of the security impact!

My SMF forum members not allowed to see full size images
« on: January 31, 2011, 11:01:47 PM »

I think this problem started when I upgraded to the latest CPG 1.5.2. For some reason, the regular members of my SMF forum 2 RC 4 can only see thumbnails when they are logged in to the gallery and are told they "do not have permission to view" full sized photos. I looked in my admin settings and could not locate how to change this for my members. Only members who are logged in have access to the gallery. What is the solution to this problem? Is this a problem with SMF? Please advise me. Thanks.

Have you checked the settings in the gallery group manager?

The settings for members are right where I want them to be. I don't get it. When I clicked on Members, it gave me this error:

Critical error

There was an error while processing a database query.

While executing query 'SELECT id_member AS user_id, real_name AS user_name, email_address AS user_email, date_registered AS user_regdate, last_login AS user_lastvisit, is_activated AS user_active, COUNT(pid) AS pic_count, ROUND(SUM(total_filesize)/1024) AS disk_usage, group_name, group_quota FROM `judithb_smf2`.smf_members AS u INNER JOIN `judithb_cpgallery`.cpg15x_usergroups AS g ON u.id_post_group+100 = g.group_id LEFT JOIN `judithb_cpgallery`.cpg15x_pictures AS p ON p.owner_id = u.id_member GROUP BY user_id ORDER BY user_regdate DESC LIMIT 0, 25;' in bridge/udb_base.inc.php on line 230 mySQL error: SELECT command denied to user 'judithb_smf2cnf'@'localhost' for table 'cpg15x_usergroups'

Could this be why there is a problem?

Please provide a test user account which should be able to see full-sized pictures.

I have one, but I don't think I should provide the user name and password here. Unless someone says it's okay and safe.

It's safe if you post a non-admin test account as requested.
