News: Maintenance release cpg1.4.25 - upgrade recommended
The Coppermine development team is releasing an update for Coppermine in order to fix an issue with http uploads that could occur in particular versions of PHP.The fix is not security-critical, so if your gallery is running fine with cpg1.4.23 or cpg1.4.24 you don't need to upgrade. If you are running an older version than cpg1.4.23, you must update to this latest version as soon as possible because of the security impact (the past few maintenance releases before cpg1.4.24 all were security-related).

The Coppermine Gallery Showcase is now open. CPG owners can share their galleries visually with screenshots and organized with keywords. It is hosted at cpg-contrib.org, which is a spin-off of CPG where we focus on plug-ins for CPG 1.4+.

The gallery there is running CPG 1.4 so you can preview the next version of Coppermine. If you want to run it yourself, please keep in mind that it is still in beta with all the corresponding caveats. More info: http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=7947.0

When I try to login, using the name I'm logged in with here, it says "That username does not exist."
Can u help?

it's a different domain that is not related to this one, so your login from this one of course doesn't exist on the other one. In fact, as user accounts are concerned, it's just another internet page. What did you expect?

It does say in the instructions "The forum and gallery share a login." so I took it to mean just that. I'll go take another look.

OK, I now realise it was talking about a different forum and have registered and uploaded our gallery.
One thing though, maybe I'm being utterly dense, stupid, blind, whatever and am about to have a million more karma points deducted, but I didn't notice a mention of the Showcase in the other forum??
