The new Nikon D300 is now available, and seems to be a very nice camera. But there is still previous version, Nikon D200, which is also less expensive. What do you think of these two cameras ?

For my opinion, depends firstly on your budget, and how you love photography.
Both are great cameras, but i'll prefer spending more money on good lens, than spend lot of money to buy the last and fashion body Wink

D200 + good lens

Hello

D200 at 100% if you can buy a second hand camera !
And of course a D300 if you have enough money to buy a new one !

I just see on zeeBay some nice D200 at a very nice price.

But do'nt forget, the most important are always the lens  Wink

Good Luck  Grin

While The Nikon D300 is a 12.3-megapixel professional [1] DX format digital single-lens-reflex (dSLR) camera and introduced last August 23, 2007. D300 is slightly more compact.
