Hi

in SPL - Science Photo Gallery (http://www.sciencephoto.com)
in the "Subject Index" in http://www.sciencephoto.com/search/categories/categories.html
is fantastic the relation - word-photo - , for example in "concepts", as aerial view, ageing, autumn, awesome, etc...

is very useful too

greetings

A great site is www.bytephoto.com where there is all the latest news about digital photography equipment, digital camera forums discussions, free photo sharing and weekly digital photo contests.

My favorite site (because they are french ...) is http://www.megapixel.net

All tests are available in english however ...

A lot of tutorials, a very active forum and ... so intuitive !

I agree with you, http://www.megapixel.net is a great website, available in both english and french language. The tests are very complete, and more comfortable to read and understand than dpreview tests (I think dpreview is too technical).

You can always try ours if you like. We've been going for just over a year. Recently moved away from using Flickr as our gallery to using Coppermine. Fairly active forum with a seperate section for guides, tutorials, hint, tips and videos. We try to organise "meets" in various places for members. Alsoi have regular interviews with pro 'togs (the next one is with Ben Osborne, the recent winner of Wildlife Photographer of the Year)

Excellent free online image editor: http://fotoflexer.com/
Can do nearly the same thing that basic desktop apps can do. Great for use on a PC where you are not allowed to install software (e.g. at work or in an internet cafe).

Link to subdomain doesn't work. Link to parent domain is working. Not sure though if this related, as Protech appears to be a biotech company with a frame-driven site layout (pretty obsolete design). Are you sure that you're not just dropping board spam?

Its definitely not spam and its not my intention to do this.

I can confirm that the site is now up again and that it actually deals with photography, so your posting indeed is no board spam. Sorry for the false alarm. Thanks for your readiness to share.

Hello all,
I am a bit of a photography novice but I love taking photos so much I really want to learn some of the basic techinical stuff. Does anyone know if there is a good website for that? I would even like advise on what type of camera to buy... Would love a point in the right direction!
Thanks
