Change Language

hi there!

i created a gallerry like a week ago...........and i want to know how to change the language please*........'cause in the options "config" it doesnt change it

so please can someone help me out

Basically, Coppermine checks your browser to see if it can auto-detect what language your browser is using.  If it can, it uses that language and ignores whatever setting you put on the config panel.  There are some people who think this should be changed so that you can set the language on the config panel.  One of those people, Stramm, posted in that thread how to disable Coppermine's language auto-detection.

However, a simpler method would be to put the language selection box on your site and let your users choose the language.  (There's a config option for the language drop-down box.) 

If you don't want your users to choose the language, and you want to change the default language to something else, you have to apply the modification Stramm posted in that thread.  Or if you want to use Stramm's mod pack, you can install the whole mod pack and have the modification automatically included.
