Great software!

I have my install done and integrated with phpBB.  Users are listed in the group Registered.

As the admin I've created some public categories, but logging in as a regular (Registered) user I can view these but can't seem to upload to them.  I initially set these public ones to require approval, but I turned that off.  I've checked and re-checked the permissions in Groups control panel, and also ran the database update from Admin Tools.  Still the same.  Help?  Did I make these categories 'private' somehow?  I don't see that anywhere.

Have you read the documentation?

I have, and agree with what he's saying. I can't seem to get use galleries to work with a bridged phpbb install. Even in group categories the permissions are set. But there is no option for users to upload files... and the "Registered Group" has these permissions.

Make an album, then allow public uploads in it.  Click the "Properties" button next to the album, look for "Visitors can upload files".  Groups that can upload into public albums can then upload into the album.

I was talking about personal galleries. They don't seem to appear, even when I've enabled them for users.

Looks like a bridging issue. I will be posting an updated phpbb bridge file soon.

Found it in the documentation..... though it is kind of buried (would be more helpful in the 'Categories' section).

So..... cpm allows users to upload files to albums that I've created in my categories, but if the users want to create their own albums, it forces them to be created in the 'user galleries' category...??
