For $5 a month, i'll give you 2 gigs of storage, 10 gigs transfer per month, unlimited email accounts, unlimited databases, and i'll even install Coppermine for you. Servers were just moved to a new datacenter and upgraded machines... dual xeon processors... havent crashed since the move (2 months or so)

I can thoroughly recommend http://www.hostito.com. Good prices, loads of scripts there, superb support service and you can install Coppermine with Fantastico.

Can anyone recommend a good Windows based Hosting service that has GD installed?

I have about 5 domains that use ASP, and 3 Coppermine installations. I love coppermine, but can't seem to find a trustworthy recommended hosting solution that will support both ASP and PHP/GD/MySQL...

I host my Coppermine gallery by www.siteflip.com if you get to the site using http://www.findmyhosting.com/ then you get cheap hosting:
I've got 1 GB and 15 GB data transfer a month for only $25.20 a YEAR! Included Cpanel unlimited databases. Only been with them for a week but haven't had any problems so far.
I live in Holland and the server is in the USA, can't say I notice a difference in speed with local hosting provider which are much more expensive.

sidenote: thanks for the contribution about amarillowebhosting, but we (the coppermine dev team) don't recommend using coppermine installs based on the fantastico package - it differs from "our" ("Regular") package and is known to cause issues.

I use 1and1 as well... I've been with them for almost a year and have had great luck with them so far. I'm using their developer package for $20 a month and it comes with 4gb space and 100gb transfer. No way you'd need that much for a simple coppermine install but it's nice to have.

You need to read the fine print with those hosts that offer free domains since they often own the domain name so you can't leave them and take the name with you.

Starts at about 6 bucks a month, lots of space (500 megs to several Gigs), PHP, mySQL, ASP, ASP.NET, Access, SQL Server, live chat support, support forum, knowledge base, loads of large email accounts... well, anyway, I like them and host several customers there as well as my own site.
